The VXC-182iU serial card provides two communication ports, one is RS-422/485 and the other is RS-232 port. It can be configured as either RS-485 for half-duplex or RS-422 for full-duplex communication, supports for speed up to 115200 bps and is capable of transmitting information over a long distance communication link.

Users can specify a COM port number manually by setting DIP switch, or let the driver choose an available number automatically. The driver provides a maximum of 128 KB software FIFO for each COM port under Windows. It's practical for large file transmission.

In harsh industrial environments, the on board ESD protection component diverts the potentially damaging charge away from sensitive circuit and protects the computer and equipment from being damaged by high potential voltage.

The serial communication card are designed for use with intelligent devices like bar code reader, serial printers, intelligent sensors, instrumentation equipment, computers and almost any device with an RS-232 port.

Sunix universal PCI Multi-port serial card provides RS-422/485 Serial connection ports on your system for industrial communication and automation applications. The 8159 card works on both 32-bit and 64-bit PCI Bus with 3.3V or 5V power, allowing this multi-port serial card to be installed in virtually any PC system and compatible with all major operating systems. The card supports multi independent RS-422 or RS-485 ports, with each port transfer data up to 921.6 Kbps and able to control device in a multi-drop mode. Furthermore, Isolation and Surge protection (optional) can protect your equipment and controller from being damaged by static electrical charge and high energy spike. Sunix ARSCTM (Auto RTS Signal Control) technology provides the best way to make half-duplex RS-485 auto data transmission and receiving without software or writing extra code. In addition, Sunix RS-422/485 Auto Identify & Switch technology allows users the convenience of changing between RS-422 and RS-485 devices without jumper or switch setting. Sunix universal PCI Multi-port serial card is the best solution for various industrial communication and automation applications.
